Composite veneers / Composite bonding

“Twice I have lived forever in a smile.” – E.Cummings

Composite veneers contain composite resins that are used to repair the shape, position, colour and texture of the teeth. Cosmetic bonding or composite bonding uses a dental material called composite resin. The substance is moulded into the teeth to give a straighter and whiter smile. Composite bonding is usually completed in one or two appointment.

Every individual is unique and has a different tooth shape, smile line and symmetry. An experienced cosmetic dentist will take all these factors into account when creating composite veneers.

How long do composite veneers last?

This depends on the following factors; the type of composite material used (there is a big difference in the quality of different composite materials), the aftercare and habits of the patients. However they may need polishing once in 6 months to maintain good appearance.
